Alex Bennett

Commerical Director 

An experienced commercial leader with extensive experience in both the commercial and charity sectors.

Alex joins Drinkaware from Pro Bono Economics, a think tank dedicated to addressing low wellbeing across the UK. He led the commercial operation, focusing on income generation, partnership management, and organisational growth. As a key member of the leadership team, he helped develop the organisation’s first three-year strategy and oversaw its transition from an infrastructure charity to a respected charity think tank. 

Before moving into the charity sector, Alex was Marketing Director at Technogym, where he launched MyWellness technology and consumer apps in the UK market, initiated Let’s Move for a Better World—an ambitious nationwide campaign to promote physical activity—and managed high-profile partnerships, including those with McLaren, Chelsea FC, and the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.  

Alex has also worked with the Green Party of England & Wales and The Outward Bound Trust.
